Kamal Haasan 65th birthday: An actor who constantly reinvents himself

Kamal Haasan, who celebrates his 65th birthday today entered the film industry when he was just five. He acted as a child artiste in the 1960 Tamil film Kalathur Kannamma, for which he won the President's Gold Medal. Since then he has featured in over 200 films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages. At 65, the enthusiasm of Kamal for films can make any youngster blush. Besides his birthday , the fans of Kamal have yet another reason to celebrate. A grand event will take place from November 7 to 9 in Kamal's hometown to mark his 60 years in Indian cinema.
