Palestinian PM backs ceasefire efforts in Gaza

Gaza's ruling Hamas militant group has called for a ceasefire deal following a surge in cross border violence. Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said that the government will welcome any effort that will bring an end to the deadliest fight.
