Oil tanker explodes in China, killing at least 18
A tanker truck exploded on a highway in southeastern China on Saturday killing 19 people and causing extensive damage to nearby buildings. A total of 132 people were receiving emergency care after the explosion in the city of Wenling, while rescuers dug people out of rubble and debris long into Saturday night. The truck carrying liquefied gas exploded around 4:45 p.m on the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway south of Shanghai in Zhejiang province. A second explosion followed when the truck fell onto a factory workshop.
