UAE's Amal spacecraft rockets toward Mars from Japan

The United Arab Emirates launched its first spacecraft "Amal", or "Hope" to circle Mars. If successful, it would be the first Arab country to visit the red planet, joining an elite club of nations that have studied the Martian atmosphere.
