Israeli police clear out anti-government protesters
Israeli police forcefully removed protesters from a square in central Jerusalem. Thousands of people protested outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence, blaring horns, hoisting Israeli flags and chanting slogans as they resumed their calls for the embattled leader to step down. Israelis have been gathering outside Netanyahu's residence several times a week, protesting his handling of the coronavirus crisis and saying he should not remain in office while on trial for corruption charges.
