Climate striker launches protest from Arctic ice cap

A young British activist has taken part in what's claimed to be the world's most northerly climate strike. Mya-Rose Craig stood on an ice floe in the Arctic Ocean at 82 degrees north above Svalbard - and held up a placard reading 'Youth Strike for Climate'. Her Arctic protest marks a day of global protest Friday to draw attention to climate change. Students have been striking on Fridays for around two years, in a movement started by Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.
