Badaamwari: The almond blossom parks of Kashmir

Almond trees are in full bloom at Badaamwari garden in Srinagar. The bloom marks the Beginning of Spring season and end of harsh winter season in the valley. But as time passed, particularly during the past three decades, it had lost its glory. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and Heritage Trust, the garden was revived by the JK Bank and formally thrown open for public in 2008.
