Market Roundup: Sensex rallies 429 points; pause on petrol, diesel price hike

Mumbai: Equity benchmark BSE Sensex rallied 429 points on Thursday. Similarly, the NSE Nifty surged 121.65 points to close at 10,551.70. On the other hand, fuel prices seems to have gone for a longer pause after rising in 22 of the past 26 days as oil marketing companies (OMC) kept the pump prices of petrol and diesel unchanged again.
