Will India overcome Chinese hurdle to get UNSC permanent seat?

Though India is all set to get a non-permanent seat in the UNSC for a two-year term in 2021-2022, the permanent seat still eludes the nation, which is home to 17 per cent of the World's population. Russia, France, USA, and Britain have supported India’s claim for permanent membership on several occasions, but the proposal was vetoed by China on every single occasion.
