WATCH: Man carries bride to cross river in Bihar

Unwilling to let his newly-wed bride walk across a river in Bihar's Kishanganj, a young man carried his bride on his shoulders and dropped her to safety. Incessant rain has left several areas of Bihar inundated, forcing a wedding party on Monday to hire a boat so they could return home after the ceremony. They covered about half the journey on the boat, but couldn't move further due to strong currents in River Kankai. As the bride expressed helplessness in de-boarding the boat, her husband carried her on his shoulders and walked in the river. A video of this incident has gone viral on social media.
