Watch: Japan-based band pays musical tribute to India on I-Day

India is celebrating its 74th Independence day today. Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurled the national flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort in New Delhi. Several world leaders took to twitter and extended greetings to PM Modi and the people of India stating that India has "so much to be proud of". Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked the world leaders for extending warm greetings on the occasion of India's Independence Day. On the occasion, Makin Super, a band based in Japan's Tokyo paid a special tribute to India on this special day. The band played the national anthem- 'Jana Gana Mana' and said, "Dear India, we love you .. We respect you .. We salute your national flag on the occasion of Independence Day."
