Nirbhaya verdict: Know about Black Warrant

It will be the first time in India that four hangings will take place simultaneously at Tihar Jail after a Delhi court issued a black warrant against four convicts in the 16 December 2012 gangrape and subsequent murder case. Since the death sentence was awarded to the convicts named Akshay, Pawan, Vinay and Mukesh years ago, the issuance of a black warrant by the court confirms the date and time of their hanging. More than seven years after the horrendous act was committed, the rapists are now scheduled to be executed on 20 March.
