Assam: Army jawans save woman from drowning after she jumps into river

Barpeta (Assam): Two Army jawans on Sunday saved a woman from drowning at Patbaushi area of Assam's Barpeta district. The woman had jumped off from a bridge over the Nakhanda River in an attempt to commit suicide. Spotting her, Subedar Ayak Ramohe and Havildar Ashok Kumar of 9 Jat Regiment jumped into the cold water to rescue the woman.
