Hyderabad: International No Diet Day is observed on May 6 to encourage people to set aside their diets and enjoy life and teach them to love themselves instead of worrying about their body shape and promote body positivity.
The problem of obesity is increasing among people due to a poor lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits. Obesity is considered to be the root cause of all diseases. The observance of International No Diet Day allows them to break free from all the rules of eating and drinking for a day to fulfil their wishes and enjoy life. They are taught to discard this idea of correcting the shape of their bodies and accept themselves, and their bodies positively. On this day, people organize various activities and invite close ones to enjoy a hearty meal of their liking.
