Kolkata (West Bengal):A Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police have busted an illegal arms factory in Asansol's Kulti and arrested five persons along with a 350 cm automatic 7 mm pistol from the spot, police said on Saturday.
Following a tip-off, the Special Task Force (STF) has conducted a raid at Kulti on Friday night and recovered the illegal arms factory.

“As many as five persons named Md Ishar Ahmed, Md Arif, Suraj Kumar Shaw, Umesh Kumar Shaw, Arun Verma, residents of Dhanbad got arrested in connection with the illegal arms factory case. Besides, the STF team has seized a 7 mm pistol from the factory,” said police.
“Now we are in the manhunt to find out the main culprit and also try to find out any connection between this factory of Kulti and Bihar's Munger, known for illegal arms factories,” police added.
A case has been registered against the five accused under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Meanwhile, further investigation is in process, police said.
