WB IPS officer committed suicide due to govt abetment: BJP leader

A BJP leader recently claimed that a 1986 West Bengal IPS officer Gaurav Dutt had committed suicide due to the continuous torture from the West Bengal CM. He had reportedly sent an email to his department informing about the injustice done to him while he was in service. A Press Conference was held in this regard.

Kolkata:BJP leader Mukul Roy claimed that a 1986 batch West Bengal IPS officer recently committed suicide due to Mamata Banerjee government abetment, on Friday.

The deceased is identified as Gaurav Dutt (61-year-old).

His father was Gopal Dutt, a security officer of Indira Gandhi.

Mukul Roy and Ex IPS Bharti Ghosh who recently joined BJP have demanded a CBI inquiry and demanded that an FIR should immediately be lodged against Mamta Banerjee.

Guarav had sent an email to his department few days before committing suicide in which he stated that chief ministser refused to close his two pending cases and file of one case was lost deliberately by the West Bengal government.

A Press Conference was held on Friday in this regard.
