On a visit to 24 Praganas, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee fat shamed a police officer. She had gone there to attend an administrative meeting on Friday.

West Bengal:West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who was on a visit to the 24 Praganas on Friday to examine the law-and-order situation in the district, fat shamed a police officer.

While attending an administrative meeting at Madhyamgram in the district and interacting with the police force, Banerjee exclamated, "Oh my God! How heavy are you?", pointing out an obese cop.

She did not stop at this, and went on to say, "Don't you have a problem in walking? It is not his fault, just his body structure. He cannot reduce the fat even if he tries to."
