MP: BJP workers protest against TMC

While protesting against the violence during BJP chief Amit Shah's roadshow in Kolkata, party workers in Bhopal painted Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's pictures and added blood spots to it to notify that the TMC government in West Bengal have killed democracy. On the contrary, they also painted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's picture with their own blood.

Bhopal: Protesting against the violence that marred BJP president Amit Shah's rally in Kolkata on Tuesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers demonstrated in a unique manner in the New Market area of the capital city on Thursday.

Condemning the incident, BJP workers of the Sadhbhavana Adhikar Manch painted pictures of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, and added blood spots to the image to highlight the fact that the TMC government in West Bengal have killed democracy.

"The merciless killings and other forms of violence that is taking place under Mamata Didi's reign in the state is condemnable. These bloodstains represent the blood shed by our workers," coordinator of Sadhbhavana Adhikar Manch, Durgesh Keswani said.

They also painted pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which they claim were painted with their blood.

"From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, PM Modi has huge support. Workers are ready to sacrifice every ounce of blood for the party," he added.

BJP and TMC supporters on Tuesday fought pitched battles on the streets of Kolkata during a massive roadshow by Shah, who escaped unhurt but was forced to cut short the jamboree and had to be escorted to safety by police.
