Bahadurgarh: Farmer leader Yogendra Yadav will soon be interrogated by the Haryana Police in the recent Tikri border rape case. The Haryana Police and National Commission for Women have sent separate notices to Yogendra Yadav.
Earlier, a shocking case emerged from the Tikri border, where several farmer's groups are protesting against the Center's three agricultural laws. Here, a young woman, who came from West Bengal, was raped and later died because of Covid-19.

National Commission for Women's Chairperson Rekha Sharma has tweeted about this on Tuesday. Rekha Sharma has written that notice is being sent to Yogendra Yadav in the rape case of the Tikri border. As per reports, Yadav was made aware by the victim about the harassment but he failed to report this to the police.
The victim's father has registered a case alleging the rape of his daughter at the venue of the agitation. The police have registered a case against 6 people regarding the case. The police have also raided the place and investigated some tents of the farmers.
