BJP youth leader arrested with cocaine in Kolkata

West Bengal BJP Yuva Morcha leader Pamela Goswami and her friend Prabir Kumar Dey were reportedly arrested with 100 grams of cocaine from New Alipore in Kolkata.

Kolkata (West Bengal): A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth leader was arrested in West Bengal's Kolkata for allegedly possessing cocaine in her bag, police said on Friday.

The Kolkata police reportedly arrested Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Pamela Goswami and her friend Prabir Kumar Dey in New Alipore area with 100 grams of cocaine.

According to police sources, Goswami is the general secretary of the Hooghly unit of the BJYM, and stays in touch with top BJP leaders and MPs in West Bengal.
