Kolkata (West Bengal): West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday took a dig at the Mamata Banerjee-led state administration over the issue of Amphan relief distribution work in various cyclone-ravaged districts and the subsequent protests by villagers demanding immediate redressal of the matter.
"Protests over corruption, nepotism and politicisation in Amphan relief distribution are rocking the State. Worrisome law and order scenario in East Midnapore, South and North 24 Parganas as BDO offices are being gheraoed," the Governor tweeted.

Dhankhar also said that lip facade will not work. Officials must face the consequences for such omission acts and abandonment of their work to political party.
