Mithun fell ill due to dehydration during the campaign in the scorching heat, said sources.

Later, he has been brought to Kolkata by helicopter from Raiganj. After arriving in Kolkata doctors checked his health condition. However, doctors will keep Mithun under special observation for 24 hours. He was advised to rest for a while.
