Kolkata: The members of the newly formed West Bengal cabinet will be sworn in tomorrow at 10:45 am. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. A total of 43 ministers, including full-rank and state ministers, will be sworn in on the same day. The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee is keen to start working quickly.
According to the information received from the government so far, there are 24 full ministers, 10 independent ministers and 9 state ministers. The biggest thing is that out of 43 ministers who will be sworn in today, 18 ministers are new faces. Former Finance Minister Amit Mitra is going to take oath as a minister even though he is not a candidate in the election.
On the other hand, former state transport minister Madan Mitra is not on the list despite winning the Kamarhati assembly seat. Two members of the last cabinet, Tapas Roy and Nirmal Majhi have been dropped.
Many faces from the film industry have also become MLAs on grassroots tickets in the Assembly elections. But the list of ministers that Mamata Banerjee submitted to Raj Bhavan on Sunday does not include anyone from the Bengal film industry.

However, Manoj Tiwary, a former India cricketer and Shivpur MLA from Howrah, is getting a ministerial berth. Ramnagar MLA Akhil Giri got a cabinet berth as well. Akhil, a four-time MLA, known for his rival group against the Adhikari family of East Midnapore, is getting the ministry for the first time.
The list of full ministers includes Subrata Mukherjee, Partha Chatterjee, Amit Mitra, Sadhan Pandey, Jyotipriya Mallick, Bankimchandra Hajra, Mansaranjan Bhuiyan, Soumen Mohapatra, Malay Ghatak, Arup Biswas, Ujjwal Biswas, Arup Roy, Rathin. Chandranath Singh, Shobhandev Chattopadhyay, Bratya Basu, Pulak Roy, Shashi Panja, Golam Rabbani, Biplob Mitra, Javed Ahmed Khan, Swapan Debnath and Siddiqullah Chowdhury.

The list of independent ministers in charge includes the likes of Becharam Manna, Subrata Saha, Humayun Kabir, Akhil Giri, Chandrima Bhattacharya, Ratna De Nag, Sandhyarani Tudu, Buluchik Baraik, Sujit Basu and Indranil Sen.
The state ministers are Dilip Mandal, Akruzzaman, Shiuli Saha, Srikant Mahato, Sabina Yasmin, Birbaha Hansda, Jyotsna Mandi, Paresh Chandra Adhikari and Manoj Tiwari.
