Dehradun: In a spate of cybercrimes across the country, yet another case has come to the fore in Uttarakhand's Dehradun where a woman was duped of over Rs 7 lakh by cyber fraudsters.
They transferred the amount from her bank account through One Time Password (OTP) fraud.
According to the victim, who is a teacher by profession, she had called the customer care of Punjab National Bank asking to change the nominee.
"After calling the customer care, I got a call back saying my nominee has been changed and was asked to share the OTP which I had received on the phone," she said.
