New Delhi: Uttarakhand is set to become the ninth state to receive the "Oxygen Express" on Tuesday, Indian Railways informed.
The first Oxygen Express for Uttarakhand carrying 120 Metric Tonnes(MT) of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) from Tatanagar, Jharkhand, is expected to reach Harawal station tonight by 11 pm.
Uttarakhand to receive 'Oxygen Express' This train started at 2 am from Tatanagar with 6 containers of oxygen.
In addition to this, Pune is also going to receive its first Oxygen Express, expected to reach on Tuesday around 11 pm. It is carrying 4 tankers with more than 50 MT of LMO from Angul in Orissa.

So far, Indian Railways has delivered nearly 5,735 MT of LMO in more than 390 tankers to various states across the country and over 90 Oxygen Expresses have already completed their journey till date.
On Monday, Oxygen Expresses delivered 755 MT of LMO to the nation. Recently, Bangalore has also received 120 MT of Oxygen.
As per the official data, 293MT has been offloaded in Maharashtra, nearly 1,630 MT in Uttar Pradesh, 340 MT to Madhya Pradesh, 812 MT in Haryana, 123 MT in Telangana, 40 MT in Rajasthan, 120 MT in Karnataka and more than 2383 MT in Delhi.
