U'khand: Man chooses selling tea over engineering!

This Uttarakhand man has chosen to run a tea shop instead of pursuing engineering even after notching up a good GATE score. Shah believes that employment opportunities are plenty in the valley and people should develop a sense to work in varied professions instead of focusing on technical courses only.

Sagar Shah, who passed the engineering GATE test, decided to continue selling tea in his native village

During the times when the youth in the hill state are constantly migrating in search of employment, Shah has decided to make a living out of his tea shop.

Shah and his family run their own team shop on the Badrinath Highway and has proved profitable for many years.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, he has claimed that he wants to be a businessman and promote self-employment among youths.

Shah believes that employment opportunities are plenty in the valley and people should develop a sense to work in varied professions instead of focusing on technical courses like engineering and medicine.

During the Char Dham journey, many pilgrims enjoy Shah's tea and snacks.

Besides, Shah's stall is also famous for his Pakodas- a popular fried snack.
