Uttarakhand cancels class 10 exams, postpones class 12 board tests

The Uttarakhand state government has decided to cancel the upcoming Uttarakhand Board's class 10 examination and postponed the class 12 examination.

Dehradun:In the wake of rising Covid cases, the Uttarakhand state government cancelled Uttarakhand Board's class 10 examination and postponed the class 12 examinations that were scheduled to begin on May 4

State's Education Minister Arvind Pandey has said the decision was taken considering the well-being of students in the state.

The Central Board of Secondary Examination has also cancelled the 10th board examination and postponed the 12th examination on April 14.

The central government can take a decision on CBSE's postponed class 12 exams on June 1, after apprising the Covid situation in the country.
