Haridwar (Uttarakhand):With the Uttarakhand board results for class 10 and 12 announced on May 30, almost all the students who have made it to the top 25 belong to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)- affiliated schools in the state.
Anantha Saklani from Dehradun has secured the first position in class 10 exams, with 99 per cent marks, and Shantakshi Tiwari from Uttarkashi has topped the class 12 exams by securing 98 per cent marks.
Both the state toppers are students of Saraswati Vidhya Mandir Inter College, which is an RSS-affiliated college.
In fact, Arpit Bartwal and Saksham, the two boys who secured the second position in the state board results with 98.60 per cent and 97.80 per cent, are also students of the same college.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Ajay Singh, Vice Principal, Saraswati Vidhya Mandir Inter College, said, "The Sangh has a big influence on us, and we pass on the teachings of the Sangh to the students of our school. We have been able to succeed by following and practicing the RSS' disciplined work culture."
