SDRF rescues 3 people after their vehicle gets stuck in snow in Uttarkashi

Three people were rescued by the SDRF after their vehicle got stuck in the snow near Barkot town in Uttarakhand.

Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand): Three people were rescued after the vehicle they were travelling got stuck in the snow near Barkot town in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi District on Friday.

A team of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued the three people who were stuck in the vehicle, which had slipped on the road due to snow.

Sudden fall in temperature caused heavy snowfall and rain in several northern states in India during the last few days.

Differents areas have been covered in a thick blanket of snow. Vehicular movement was partially disrupted following the snowfall.

Besides this, due to dense fog which is prevailing in various cities of northern region hampered transport services.
