Dehradun:Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday blamed the Haryana and Punjab government for the deteriorating air quality in the national capital. Sisodia made the statement while explaining to the traders in Dehradun about the immense possibilities of business in the state. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader was on a two-day tour to the state.
The AAP leader said that the biggest reason for the ever-increasing pollution in the national capital is stubble burning in the states of Punjab and Haryana. According to the Centre report, it has become clear that 36 per cent of pollution in Delhi is due to stubble smoke.
Sisodia further said, "the farmers of Punjab and Haryana have been suffering the most as the government of these two states have not made a proper arrangement for stubble. This is why North India is suffering from pollution."
