Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand): The Darma Valley along the China border will soon be connected by road. Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has completed road cutting work in Darma Valley. Moreover, six out of the seven bridges have already been constructed.
After the monsoon, Hotmix work will also be initiated.
The completion of this road construction work will ease the mode of transport for all the 14 villages of Darma valley and the security forces will need less time to reach the border.

Before Bidang the population of Dantu, Tidang, Marcha and Sipu is inhabited.
