Chamoli (Uttarakhand):Heavy rainfall in most parts of Uttarakhand has caused rivers and drains to swell and triggered landslides that have disrupted movement on the Badrinath National Highway (NH-7).
Cyclone Tauktae brought torrential rains to Uttarakhand pounding the region for two days. There has also been a drastic drop in temperature due to continuous rains.
The rains also lashed Chamoli district where a cargo truck in Lambagad has been hit by landslides. The administration has sent rescuers and police to the scene.
