Dehradun:The Indira Gandhi National Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun, which had undergone 28-day lockdown as per the containment plan, COVID-19 of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, after three trainee IFS officers tested positive for COVID-19, was freed from lockdown on Friday.
As per reports, the first case of coronavirus in the state was reported from the institute, after one of the 43 officers who had returned from a foreign visit was found be coronavirus positive.
However, the quarantine and isolation centre at the institute will remain operational till further orders.
Additionally, all movement in the said campus/building will remain restricted till further orders and the lockdown in force in the district will be applicable in this area too.
