Haridwar: With the country gearing up for the forthcoming general elections, India's young demographic is being considered as one of the deciding factors of 2019 LS polls. In this context, the youngsters across the country have begun evaluating, which political party would be supportive of their aspirations and ideals.

Young voters of Haridwar Lok Sabha constituency said that they would extend their support to the political party, which would give priority to education.

First-time voters keen to exercise their franchise

Speaking to ETV Bharat, a young voter said, "The candidates who will talk about basic and prevailing issues such as education, jobs, scholarships and health will be our first priority."

Commenting on the vision shared by political parties, a girl student said that the parties never clearly specify their agenda. "They must have a clear vision before asking for votes," she remarked.

The first-time voters, further clarified that they will not be taken in by the PR machismo and not cast their vote to any party until there vision is clear to them.
