Agra:A youth along with two of his relatives have been arrested after he tried to enter the Agra Air Force Station by posing as a CBI officer. Police said that the youth identified as Raju Ahirwar tried to enter the Air Force Station with two of his relatives- Baijnath Ahirwar and Mahendra Kumar Ahirwar- at around 7.30 am on Wednesday.
They arrived at the Ajit Nagar Gate of the Air Force Station and showed his identity card to the security personnel pretending to be a CBI officer and demanded that he and his two companions be allowed to enter the Air Force Station.
However, Junior Warrant Officer and Assistant Security Officer of Agra Air Force Station Amar Singh became suspicious upon seeing Raju's ID card and informed his senior officials while keeping the trio waiting at the gate.
Air Force Officials reached the spot and grilled the three after taking them into custody. During interrogation, it was confirmed that Raju was not a CBI officer and produced a fake ID card. Raju and his two companions were then handed over to the officials of the Shahganj police station.
An FIR has been lodged at the Shahganj Police Station based on the complaint of the officer of the Air Force Station, said DCP City Zone Vikas Kumar. Police said that the three accused were interrogated and then sent to jail adding that further investigation is going on.
" All the three youths are residents of Damoh in Madhya Pradesh," police said. Speaking to reporters, Shahganj police station in-charge Inspector Jitendra Kumar said that during interrogation Raju revealed that he wanted to see an aircraft so he had gone to the Agra Air Force Station posing as a CBI officer adding that the two other accused are his relatives.
