Yogi takes holy dip at Sangam on Basant Panchami

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, minister Siddharth Nath Singh took a holy dip at Sangam in Prayagraj on the occasion of Basant Panchami.

Prayagraj:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a holy dip at Sangam -- the confluence of Ganga and Yamuna -- in Prayagraj on the occasion of Basant Panchami early on Thursday morning.

State BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, minister Siddharth Nath Singh were among others who also took a holy dip at Sangam.

The Chief Minister also performed ''puja'' on the banks of Sangam and later participated in a photo session at the ''selfie point''.

He also flew a kite on the occasion.

The Chief Minister reached Prayagraj on Wednesday evening and had meetings with various saints and seers, camping there for the ongoing Magh Mela.
