Baghpat:In another case of the brutal violence against women in Uttar Pradesh, a woman was gang-raped near her village in Baghpat and was beaten by iron rods when she resisted the act on Wednesday.
The woman had come back home last week and had received a call after which she went out.
However, when she did not return at the end of the day, her family started searching for her.
She was found unconscious and naked by her family in a vacant plot just outside the village.
Currently admitted at the District hospital, the victim has alleged that she was raped by a Nadish - a neighbour - who had called her.

She also said that Nadish, Rahish, Mobin, and Yasin who were present at the spot gang-raped her and also assaulted her with iron rods when she tried to save herself.
The family after admitting the victim, also have filed a complaint with the Doghat police.
An investigation has been initiated in the case, however, none of the policemen was reportedly ready to talk to the media about it.
