Farrukhabad (Uttar Pradesh):Asha worker Radhika Solanki, who was urging people to get vaccinated was attacked in Uttar Pradesh. Solanki along with her colleagues was directing the locals to a primary school for vaccination in Niyamatpur Saraiya village of Maudarwaja police station area. A villager attacked her with a sickle but due to timely intervention by the people, she was saved. The police registered a case against the attacker on the complaint of the Asha worker.

Solanki reached a house in Majba Kheda in Niyamatpur Saraiya village and urged residents to get vaccinated. But the person not only refused but also attacked her with a sickle. In the meantime, the village chief's son Anand Yadav along with several others arrived at the spot and rescued the woman. The police also reached the spot along with the SDM Sadar Anil Kumar. They also interacted with the health workers in the primary school and assured them of safety and security. The police are now investigating the whole matter.
