Son stabs mother to death for not giving money to buy liquor

A man killed his mother in anger after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. The search for the absconding accused is on.

Gonda (Uttar Pradesh): A man allegedly stabbed his mother to death in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda district last night, police said on Friday.

The incident took place at Saraiya village in Paraspur police station area of ​​Gonda district.

The accused named Sanjay Shukla was addicted to alcohol and killed his mother in anger after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol.

Shashank Shukla (grandson of the deceased) filed a police complaint against him after which police started the investigation.

Sanjay used to come home drunk and beat his wife daily, hence she left his home and went back to her maternal home, Shashank said.

The body has been sent for postmortem and the search for the accused is on.
