Uttar Pradesh: Man rapes, impregnates minor daughter

In a shocking incident came to light from Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district where a father raped her daughter and impregnated her. The shameful act has been reported when the victim had developed pain in the stomach and vomiting. When the doctor said that the girl was pregnant, then she revealed to her mother that her father has been raping her for one year.

Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh): Amid the widespread outrage over the alleged gang-rape and murder of a teen from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, an yet another has been reported from state's Barabanki district on Wednesday.

Police inspector, Dr Arvind Chaturvedi said the incident took place at a village under Fatehpur police limits where a man raped his 16-year-old daughter for over 1 year and impregnated her.

The incident came to light when the minor girl was diagnosed with a pregnancy of 9 months. Owing to this her aunt on Tuesday night approached Fatehpur Police Station to file FIR against girl's father.

According to reports, the aunt of the minor girl took her to a private hospital as she was not feeling well on approaching them they asked the victim’s aunt to take a pregnancy test.

The victim’s aunt was taken aback when the result confirmed that her niece is pregnant and when she questioned her niece she narrated the ordeal.

She told her aunt that from past one year her father has been raping her and threatened to kill her if she tells anyone regarding the same.

This left her aunt in utter shock and after learning this she immediately approached the police station. The police too immediately swung into action and started hunting the man to arrest him.

So far no arrest has been made as police have not been able to find the accuse.
