Lucknow: In a drunken brawl, a man killed his younger brother in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The youth was declared brought dead at the hospital.
The deceased Rajababu worked in a brick kiln in Gwalior. A fight broke out between him and his elder brother at their home, both were daily wage workers. They had consumed alcohol and in a fit of rage the elder brother killed Rajababu with a shovel.

"Both of them were in an inebriated state. Rajababu had been troubling his family to get him married. However, their mother was away from town when the incident took place. Rajababu once again begun ranting about his marriage, a scuffle broke out between the two and under the influence of liquor, the elder brother killed Rajababu," the sister-in-law of the deceased said.
Further, police added that the family was in financial distress. "Both the brothers were heavily drunk, after a fight the younger brother was killed with a shovel. We have registered a case and the probe is underway," Manilal Patidar, Superintendent of Police Mahoba said.
