Uttar Pradesh Health Minister tests positive for COVID-19

उत्तर प्रदेश के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री जय प्रताप सिंह हुए कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाए गए हैं. इसके बाद स्वास्थ्य महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया है. राजधानी लखनऊ स्थित केजीएमयू ने शुक्रवार को प्रदेश भर में कोरोना संक्रमितों की संख्या का आंकड़ा जारी किया है. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक 195 लोग आज संक्रमित पाए गए हैं.

Uttar Pradesh Health Minister tests positive for COVID-19

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh has tested positive for Coronavirus on Friday after he complained of mild fever.

Tests have now also been conducted on his family members.

As many as 2,529 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Uttar Pradesh in the last 24 hours. 

"A total of 35,803 people have been discharged after recovering from COVID-19.

India reported the highest single-day spike of 49,310 coronavirus cases on Friday, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.The total COVID-19 positive cases stand at 12,87,945 including 4,40,135 active cases, 8,17,209 cured/discharged/migrated.

With 740 deaths in the last 24 hours, the cumulative toll reached 30,601.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 3,52,801 samples were tested for coronavirus on Thursday and overall 1,54,28,170 samples have been tested so far.
