Agra: A 76-year-old man was beaten up by his neighbour and his son in Uttar Pradesh's Agra after he went to their house to return the money which he borrowed from them 10 months ago.
According to sources, Chhattar Singh Kushwaha, a resident of Nagla Karan Singh Nainana Brahmin, went to his neighbour Moolchand's house on April 30 to return Rs 14,000, which he borrowed 10 months ago. Moolchand, who refused to accept the money and threatened to lodge a complaint to the police over the delay in payment, also entered the house of Kushwaha and beat him up. After this, when the elderly person was going to lodge a complaint with the police, Moolchand's son Murari attacked him and urinated on his face. The victim has filed a case against the accused.

Later Kushwaha having failed to file an FIR at Thana Sadar Bazar where cops refused to register the case, Kushwaha met Police Commissioner Pritinder Singh and requested him to ensure justice for him. Taking cognizance of the gravity of the crime, Pritinder Singh instructed Thana Sadar Bazar police to register a case against the Moolchand and his son Murari immediately. On Wednesday, Sadar Bazar police station registered a case against the accused under sections 406, 452, 323, 341 and 500. Station in-charge Sadar Bazar Neeraj Kumar Sharma said police are investigating the sed are yet to be arrested though cops launched a manhunt for them.
