Uttar Pradesh: Drunk men shoot 4 of a family, set their house on fire

Two men who were in an inebriated state shot four members of a family and set their house on fire. A search for both the accused is underway.

Uttar Pradesh: Four members of a family including a woman was injured after two drunk men set their house on fire and shot them in Kasganj city here on on Wednesday.

The incident took place in Gendupura village when both the accused identified as Heetu and Sheetu went to a Manoj's house in an inebriated state.

Seeing their condition, Manoj asked them to return and come back later in the morning. Raged over denial of entry into his house, the men set his house on fire.

The accused also shot Manoj and his family members the next morning while they were going to their farmland with several other people.

All injured were rushed to a local hospital in the area from where they were referred to Aligharh for treatment.

An FIR has been registered and a search for both the accused is underway.
