Uttar Pradesh: Baby Elephant found dead in Amangarh Tiger Reserve

A three-year-old baby elephant was reportedly found dead due to some disease in Amangarh Tiger Reserve area of Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district on Monday.

Bijnor (Uttar Pradesh):A male baby elephant was found dead in Amangarh Tiger Reserve area of Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district on Monday.

The incident came to the fore when villagers saw the carcass lying in the forest.

The carcass was found near a farmer's field in Bijnor's Kiratpur.

According to officials, the elephant was around three-year-old and it reportedly died due to some disease.

However, the forest officials said that the cause of the death will be determined only from the post-mortem report.
