UP: TV explosion claims lives of 3 kids in Badaun

A Television blew up in Budaun district resulting in the death of three children and seriously injuring one.

Budaun: In a shocking incident, three children died and one was seriously injured after a television exploded in their house in Katholi village of Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh.

Chaos erupted in the village post the incident.

Reportedly, five children were watching TV at night and after some time there was a power cut. Following this, one of the kids moved out of the room and others laid down to sleep there.

At around 1 am when the power supply resumed, the TV switched on and it suddenly exploded killing three children on the spot and injuring one seriously.

The incident has shocked the entire village. Later, the police reached the spot and initiated a probe.
