Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh):Amid reports of more than forty children dying due to viral fever in parts of Uttar Pradesh, the government sprung into action and removed Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Firozabad district, Nita Kulshreshtha, and issued necessary guidelines to the administration. The government also called for a report from the Additional Chief Secretary of Health.
In the report send to the government, several loopholes have been revealed.
According to the reports, the doctors had not even examined the children, considering it as the seasonal flu. In the reports, it was also mentioned that the children died of unknown reasons in Firozabad.
