Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh):A police team along with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on Wednesday raided a fake clinic which was running in the name of Medical store in Kaushambi's Dubaara village.
After getting a tip-off, district magistrate Manish Kumar Verma directed the police and CMO, PM Chaturvedi to conduct a surprise check at the clinic-cum-medical store.
UP police raid, seize fake clinic in Kaushambi As soon as the CMO arrived at the medical store, he found that two patients were admitted there. He started the investigation and asked the owner Ramcharan to show legal documents of the shop but he could not furnish any.While the investigation was going on, DM Verma suddenly reached the spot along with superintendent of police Gupta and the police force.As per sources, as soon as Ramcharan saw the DM and the police, he managed to escape from the spot.On the order of DM, police have seized the medical store and started further investigation into the matter.
