UP Police dismiss allegations of manhandling Priyanka Gandhi in Lucknow

Area incharge of Lucknow, Dr Archana Singh written to Additional Superintendent of police that whatever rumours are doing rounds on social media of heckling and strangulating Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are wrong.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): While talking about the alleged manhandling of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra by UP Police in Lucknow, SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said that the woman police officer has denied the allegation put against her by the Congress.

He said, “Today, morning area incharge, Dr Archana Singh has presented a report to Additional Superintendent where she has mentioned that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's car was not moving in the scheduled route rather a different route."

Singh has also written that whatever rumours are doing rounds on social media of heckling and strangulating Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are wrong.
