Sultanpur:Even as the lockdown rules have become more stringent to curb the novel coronavirus pandemic across the country, the Uttar Pradesh administration is setting another example by violating the home-quarantine guidelines within its own department.
Ayodhya Prasad, who has been posted as homeguard near Sultanpur, went to New Delhi with his family last month.
After returning from the national capital, the health department of the state has directed his family to stay in home-quarantine. Also, the department has patched a poster outside his house, saying the family under home-quarantine.
Despite, the health department's direction to the family, the UP police has directed the home guard to join the department as earliest as possible.
However, a sanitation worker who used to clean the Punjabi colony area, where the family has been kept under home quarantine, informed the concerned department observing the poster outside the home guard's house.
